How do I measure a window/door?

Measuring a new window or door is easy. You measure brick to brick from the outside, take 3 measurements at different points on the width and height. You then take the smallest measurement and deduct 10mm, this is the size you will then order. Please find attached our printable survey sheets to help with the process.

Where do you deliver to?

How long will the delivery take from point of order?

Our delivery page will show the lead times for all products. We always aim to deliver within this time frame and currently have a 99% accuracy on all delivery and timeframes.

What guarantees do you offer?

We offer a comprehensive guarantee as described below:
Frames: Window and door profiles are guaranteed for a period of 10 years. This warranty is in respect of colour stability, shape retention and impact strength retention.
Sealed Glass Units: 5 years against condensation inside the unit.
Furniture/Hardware: 1 year against failure in operation

How do I place an order with you?

What payment types do you accept?

We accept all major debit and credit cards which are safely received using a LLoyds Bank gateway. We also offer a range of finance packages from 0% to long term finance, please see our finance page for more information.

Do you offer installation?

We can work with your current installers for your project, or we can recommend an installer who we work alongside. Please see out fitters page for more information.

Can I have my windows open inwards?

Yes if you select Tilt & Turn Windows these open inwards.

Can an existing order be amended?

As long as the order is not yet in production then we can happily make modifications. Please Contact us immediately should you wish to make an alteration.

Can I cancel my order?

You can cancel the order only before it has started manufacturing, after that cancellations without a charge are not possible. We strongly urge you to check your order details carefully in the order confirmation email.

How do I report a problem with my purchase?

All of our products go through a rigorous quality check, but in the unlikely event you should experience any problems or your item is faulty then please contact us. Any photos that you can include would be much appreciated and aid in resolving any issues quickly.

What profile is used?

The profile will vary depending on the specification of the frame. To see the specification of the frame from the main page choose the type of product i.e. windows, then select the material, followed by the style. This will then give you access to the profile specification under the heading technical for each product.

What is the specification of your glass?

How do I get a FENSA certificate?

FENSA Building Regulation certificates certify the actual installation. Your installer should be able to issue a FENSA certificate. If not, or you are installing yourself, your local Building Control can certify your installation. More information: www.fensa.co.uk

What if I make a mistake with measuring or ordering?

Windows Plus Online is more than aware that human error can occur. By following the guidance provided this should be very unusual. However, should this occur please contact us immediately. We will work with you to see if this can be resolved. Should you have no alternative but to order a new item, then we will endeavour to turn this remake around for you in a very speedy time-frame. For example, a white window would be 48hours. You could opt for waiting for the next delivery run, arranging transportation, or collect from our factory.
