Colours Options

Windows Plus Online's choice of door-stop composite slabs bring with it recognised selection of colours. There is are option's to have your frame in a colour that will be in keeping with the door slab and, generally white is the chosen colour as this enhances the colour of the door to the eye, making a focal point of the slab.

To choose your colour in a composite door is very difficult to do and you will find yourself changing your mind a few times. A few pointers, reds stand out to the road side and will attract attention, chartwell green and cream are more for a country look, the most popular colours in the door-stop range are black and navy blue for traditional buildings, and moving to an anthracite grey for a more modern design.

Thresholds are an important part of the physical usage of doors and the overall design of the door. As standard the door will come with a full frame threshold (70mm approx) but there are options to have a low frame work (60mm approx), or a disabled low threshold. You have to be a little careful with this to allow the internal floor not to catch on the door sash if sat directly onto a stone cill.

Glass Options

Windows Plus Online will only supply recognise household names and believe the choice of glass is as important as a door setup. Windows Plus Online offers the full Pilkington obscure glass range. Over the many years of experience Windows Plus Online has discovered that the higher the privacy number the increase in light distortion is found. Because of this we recommend stippolyte obscured glass as the most popular glass at the moment, as it is a high level 4 privacy but does not reduce the light coming into the house. Windows Plus Online offer a wide range of decorative options ranging from triple glazed bevel design to specific sandblasted in the glass decorative options within the designer.
